Yesterday, the exhibition „Werther Worlds“ was officially opened at the @museen.wetzlar , with South Korean digital creator and director @ymkfilms as the guest of honor. As part of the opening, works from my series „Goethe is Back“ were presented, including a special piece created in collaboration with the director at the Lottehof, in front of Charlotte Buff’s residence. My works are displayed in Room One of the impressive Werther exhibition. A heartfelt thank you to the director, Dr. Anja Eichler, and the entire team for the excellent collaboration – it was an unforgettable experience!

The time is almost here: The 275th birthday of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is just around the corner. I am very excited to announce that on August 28th, a selection of my artwork will be on display at the Romantik-Museum in Marburg, where Goethe’s birthday will also be celebrated with due honor.

In the spirit of the great poet and thinker:

Bald ist es soweit: Der 275. Geburtstag von Johann Wolfgang von Goethe steht vor der Tür. Ich freue mich sehr, euch mitteilen zu können, dass am 28. August im Romantik-Museum in Marburg eine Auswahl meiner Bilder zu sehen sein wird. Gleichzeitig wird dort Goethes Geburtstag gebührend gefeiert.

Some of my works from the „Goethe is back“ series are currently on display at the museum in Marburg. Starting on September 8, 2024, additional pieces will be featured in the exhibition „WERTHER.WORLDS – 250 Years of International Impact of Goethe’s Novel *The Sorrows of Young Werther*,“ at the museums in Wetzlar.

Among the exhibits, you will also find an exclusive portrait of the South Korean film director Young Man Kang. Stay tuned for what awaits you in the museums!

Moments and memories from my exhibition "Goethe is Back" in the magical Thomas-Mann-Hall at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.

In this exhibition series, I aim to present Goethe in a completely new way. I want his life and works to appear vivid, timeless, and relatable in my images. By incorporating text passages from his various works into the pictures, I hope to create positive impressions and inspire the younger generation.

Bei der Ausstellungsserie möchte ich Goethe auf eine völlig neue Weise präsentieren. In meinen Bildern sollen sein Leben und Werk lebendig, zeitlos und nahbar erscheinen. Mit der Einbindung von Textpassagen aus seinen verschiedenen Werken zu den Bildern möchte ich positive Impulse setzen und besonders die jüngere Generation inspirieren.

My exhibition „Goethe is Back“ successfully concluded at the Thomas Mann Hall of Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. I was able to take many young people on a photographic journey through Goethe’s life and works with my images. The exhibition “Goethe is back” moves from Munich to Marburg.

Yesterday, the university town of Marburg opened my exhibition “Goethe is back” in the Romantic Museum. In this unique setting, Goethe is rediscovered in a modern and simultaneously romantic way. I warmly invite you to visit this exhibition in the heart of Marburg’s beautiful old town. Here is a small glimpse of yesterday’s opening. A special highlight was the performance by the young musician Mathis Buchholz, who performed songs from the Goethe era.
